Please read the following instructions carefully, it is very important that you remember to enroll twice: for the International Office and for the Faculty of Business and Economics

Step 1:

First of all, if you want to study Economics as an exchange-student here in Mainz you have to be nominated by the Erasmus-Coordinator of your home university.

Step 2:

Please follow the link on the right and read the information of the International Office at the University of Mainz.

On this website you will find all relevant information for your application.

Remember that the deadline for all exchange applications is July, 15th for the winter semester and January, 15th for the summer semester!

Please send the signed application document (including a copy of your ID and if necessary the confirmation of application) to the International Admission Office via regular post:

Additional information will be sent to you automatically after you handed in your application for admission.

Step 3:

Once you are accepted by our university, please enroll online a second time at the Faculty of Business and Economics. To register for this faculty, you just have to send back this containing the following personal data: name, address, e-mail, home university, duration of your stay (in semesters). Only this way we can provide you with all the information you need for your exchange semester. It would be very helpful, if you could send us the e-mail as soon as you know that you are accepted for the Erasmus program.

Step 4:

Finally we would like to mention that our study office issues international Transcript of Records. At the end of your studies in Mainz we will send you an e-mail containing detailed instructions on how to order the Transcript of Records.
